Hello Campers,

As per the most recent Public Health Order from the Province, we are currently not taking any short term reservations until after the provincial travel restrictions have been lifted (Currently February 5th, 2021). If you are an individual who lives full time in an RV, who requires long term accommodation of greater than 2 weeks for self-isolation purposes, please call us to discuss booking options. We can be reached, at 250-725-2750 for a voice message or at info@surfgrove.com

At Surf Grove we are doing everything within our ability to open and operate in the safest ways possible during the global Covid-19 pandemic. Our Covid-Friendly camping operations have been structured upon all recommendations of the Provincial Health Services Authority to ensure the safety of our guests, our staff, and our community.

Out of country guests are able to book stays from 2021 onwards. Any cancellations in regards to out of country reservations that result due to borders not opening are still subject to the standard cancellation fee.

During these times we are not recommending group camping, in order to maintain proper social distancing measures. there is only a maximum of 6 people permitted on a site at a time.

More on-site changes to operations include social distance check-ins, limited grocery items and supplies, no onsite surf lessons and rentals. Early check ins and late check outs are not permitted during this time, to allow our staff to safely clean campsites before arrivals.

It is imperative that our guests behave in a socially responsible manner when it comes to the situation surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic. Tofino looks forward to welcoming guests, but we ask that everyone practices the same precautions that you would at home. Keeping in line with the same socially responsible procedures will ensure a healthy reintegration of tourism in Tofino and across Canada.

As Tofino is a remote community with limited healthcare services, all of our guests are required to adhere to our Covid-19 policies. In order to reduce traffic in high risk areas in town, we are asking that all of our guests do their shopping for basic groceries in their city of origin or in a larger city before arriving. If you have the need to shop for groceries while in Tofino please try shopping at our local artisan stores, such as Picnic Charcuterie or Gaia Grocery online, or by calling in your order. This is a critical action that will allow you more time on the beach, less time in a line, and reduce stress on our small community.

We can’t wait to welcome you to your new favourite Tofino campground. Wishing you all the best and good health!
